The Founder’s Story – In His Own Words
My name is Jose Granados, and I grew up in El Salvador a beautiful country, but one marked by many challenges and hardships. From a young age, I experienced what it was like to live with limited resources, without access to basic services, and with very few opportunities to move forward.
With the dream of a better future, I emigrated to the United States. Starting from nothing was not easy: I worked long hours, faced many obstacles, and learned through hard work and perseverance. Over time, thanks to God’s help, I was able to build a stable life and create new opportunities. Even so, I never forgot my roots or the needs of the communities I left behind.
Each time I returned to my country, I saw the same struggles I had lived through families with limited access to food, people without medical care, and children without essential resources. It became clear to me that if I had been able to overcome these challenges, then I had a responsibility to help others do the same.
That is why I created this foundation with a clear purpose: to support those who face the same challenges I once experienced. I know what it feels like to have nothing, because I lived it. And I know how much a helping hand can change someone’s life at the right moment.
Today, we work to provide assistance in health, access to food and clothing, and other essential needs. I firmly believe that no matter where we come from, everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.
As long as God gives me life, I will continue working to support my community and anyone in the world who needs help, because kindness and compassion should have no borders. My vision is that, together, we can transform lives and build a more humane, just, and opportunity-filled future.
